
Gratitude is a virtue every man should cultivate. Yet thankfulness means nothing if you haven't mastered the art of expressing it.
One of the most traditional ways of communicating gratitude to those you appreciate is by writing a simple "thank you" note.

The dead battery in my car? Help on my final exam? Aunt Joyce's swollen finger?
Sometimes it's hard to know what to pray about.
Maybe if we paid closer attention to what the Apostle Paul prayed for, we wouldn't have that problem anymore.

Trouble is a chain that nobody can escape. But when things don't turn out like you expect, how do you respond?
Do you incarcerate yourself in a dark & depressed mindset? Or are you liberated by the opportunity to rejoice in the gospel, regardless of your circumstances?

Is there any real point to living anymore? And if so, what is it?
Is there any hidden incentive for dying? And if not, how come?
The way you choose to answer these questions is the difference between staying in a dark place, and being liberated to love Jesus like you should.

Every nation has its patriots,
but the citizens of heaven's kingdom are unparalleled.
Not necessarily because of who they are,
but because of the King they serve.

With some 206 bones in the human body, there are numerous opportunities for dislocation.
But if all the parts are working in harmony, the chances of that happening can be significantly reduced.

Some people dream of being as smart as Einstein, while others wish they could think like Bach. But you don't meet too many people these days who want the mind of a slave and choose to obey God to death.
Just imagine what the Church would be like if everybody thought that way.
